Police have had to deal with a number of stolen cars in the West Belfast area on the first night of the school break, Police described their resources as being stretched to the limits as they dealt with upward of 8 stolen cars in the city. Police responded to an incident in the Poleglass estate where a stolen car collided with a Lamp-Post before being set alight at around 12:30 Am in the early hours of Saturday morning. Moments later police received a call reporting that two stolen cars had then collided on the near by Collinwell road on the outskirts of West Belfast. Police have reported that they have had to deal with a “spike” in anti-social behaviour in the area over the past few months however they remain adiment that it is a small number that are causing the problem in the area.
