New Start For DC?
Local side Donegal Celtic have got off to a flying start this new year
after a 68th minuet goal scored from DC striker Paul McVeigh. Glenavon
had a hand full of chances including a 21st minuet freekick that was denied
by John Connolly. As the match lead on into the late minuets of the game
both teams had plenty of chances but both Andy Coleman and John Connelly
denied a variety of chances. DC could have easily made the score line much
bigger in the dying minuets as Glenavon pushed all available players up
the park but some how Coleman was able to scramble to all one on one attempts,
this win sees DC gain three crucial points to bring them in contention
with the swifts.
